Thanksgiving Fun!

I hope you all had a fun Thanksgiving. I had something kind of scary happen. My daughter and I were plowing the snow off our driveway when some smoke started coming out. We jumped out and saw flames coming from under our hood! We ran off and it went out after awhile. We had to borrow a four wheeler to plow our driveway. I got the truck fixed yesterday, but I'm kind of nervous about driving it now!

I'm surprised you would get nervous about a Spanish test. You always seem to do well on your work! It's cool how your mom gives you rewards if you do well. That is a really cool trick you have for multiplying be 9! I had forgotten about that.

1.  I really like diagramming sentances because it helps you figure out what the word is I even diagram when I do not have to if I can not remember what a word is like noun or subject noun, subject pronouns or object pronouns.
2. In spanish I am a little nervous mom says that once we review all the words we are going to have a test on all we have learned and it is a lot. I do not know if I like knowing about tests or not but I get pop quizzes all the time.  mom has a big box of flash cards and if I want something special like extra tv time or doritoes i have to answer 10 questions to get it and the box has flash cards for all my classes.
3.  Did you know the trick about the 9 when you multiply it the answer equals 9 in addition 9X8 take the eight and go down one then you have 7 and 7+2 =9 so the answer is 72 how cool is that.
4. In science I like the chemistry class better because of the experemints but I take a class at a coop I am taking a science class where we study the ocean I do not like it but I get the fun stuff at home and mom said that study of the ocean is science too

5. I really like the history did you know that double jeopardy means if a jury said you did not commit a crime you can not be tried twice for the same crime even if you tell everyone you did it or if you then go out and do that crime. It doesnt seem right but it is the law.

It looks like you're getting a bunch done! I'm glad you find so much of it easy. If you keep working hard your schoolwork will usually seem easy.
You sure are learning a lot of words in Spanish.
You should try to review those multiplication facts every once in awhile. You will be using them for the rest of your life!

1. I really like diagramming sentences language is sooooo easy.
2. Knowing which tense is easy if the sentence does not make sense you probably have the wrong tense.
3. Here is my test in shurley grammar. it was easy.
4. We have a lot of words in spanish now but mom made flash cards and we put pictures on them so it's getting pretty easy but in spanish sometimes it's hard to remember if it is masculine or feminine.
5. I have multiplication in math mom said I knew it last year but that was a long time ago so I have to memorize again.
6. I love american history I  think its really cool to see how america has grown.
